regarding gite letting at La Bournais, Jugon les Lacs
1. The balance is payable 8
weeks before arrival.
2. On arrival a deposit of
80 euros is payable in cash. This is refundable less -
(a) Any breakages.
(b) Electricity charges as meter readings @ 0.20 euro per unit.
Meters will be read before and after lettings. Please see note in
gite if you wish to check readings.
(c) Each gite is cleaned and serviced between lettings but clients
are requested to leave the gite as they find it. A cleaning charge
of 31 euros would only be levied if the gite is left in an unreasonably
dirty condition or if requested to clean on your behalf.
3. Linen including towels will
be provided and this service is included in our published rates.
Visitors are requested not to remove towels from the gites for bathing.
4. We now live in the farmhouse
adjacent to the gites. If we are not at home when you arrive, we
will have left the key in the door of your gite and will call on
you as soon as we return. Please note that the entrances are at
the rear.
5. There are several bicycles,
which are available, without charge, for the use of visitors. We
ask you to note, however, that visitors use the bicycles entirely
at their own risk. For hygiene reasons we do not supply helmets
and strongly recommend that visitors intending to use the bicycles
bring their own helmets with them.
6. You are requested to vacate
the gite by 10.00am on the morning of departure. Gites will
be available for occupation by 4.00pm on the day of arrival.
We ask clients to adhere strictly to these times to enable us to
clean and service the gites thoroughly. Earlier occupation may be
possible depending on lettings. If you wish to occupy at an earlier
time please telephone us immediately prior to departure and we will
try to assist.
7. There is ample free car
parking space around the gites.
8. The provision of games facilities
and meals are services provided for the benefit of our clients and
will be maintained to the best of our ability. Such services, however,
do not form part of our letting contract and we reserve the right
to discontinue or vary such services as necessary without prior
notice.
9. We
regret that with the exception of guide dogs for the blind, (for
which special arrangements will be made), we are unable to permit
animals in our gites or the adjacent car park and gardens. This
exclusion includes animals which owners may have proposed to kennel
in their vehicle during a stay and to animals owned by visitors
to our guests during their stay.
10. Cancellation charges:
1 - 21 days before date of
reservation: 90%
21 - 48 days before date of reservation: 60%
More than 49 days before date of reservation: 45%
